Support the Columbia Summer Winds

For over a decade, the Columbia Summer Winds has had the privilege of bringing fun and exciting performances to New York City parks. Rooted in its mission is the guarantee that CSW concerts are brought to the public free of charge, accessible to all who wish to enjoy a wide variety of music: symphonic arrangements, pop tunes, musical medleys, and more.

It is for this reason that the Columbia Summer Winds is especially grateful and proud of the support it receives from its dedicated friends, family, and colleagues. The help of our supporters has allowed our wind ensemble to present four free concerts each summer and introduce a new work every other year through our biennial Outdoor Composition Contest. Below are some of the ways you can help the Columbia Summer Winds continue its mission! All gifts made to the Columbia Summer Winds are tax-deductible.

The Sustainers Program

To recognize our continued supporters and reward them for their dedication to the ensemble, the Columbia Summer Winds has established The Sustainers Program. Those who donate $50 or more to the Columbia Summer Winds will become Sustainers, offered benefits and recognition at the four levels:

  • Quarter Note $50 – Acknowledgment in our program for the 2013 Season

  • Whole Note $250 – Previous benefits and a free open rehearsal
